Welcome Guardians and Parents!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit your student's course site.  All of our course documentation and information can be accessed through Brightspace (d2l) which is a program that your student has access to through the school board.  Your student can access the course through this site or by visiting https://ucdsb.elearningontario.ca/d2l/home

A significant portion of your student's work in our course will take place online.  It is important that your child have regular access to the internet, either through a computer or handheld device.

If you do not have access to the internet at home, your student will need to find an alternative way to access the course materials.

School:  Students can access the internet at school through the learning resource centre after class, during MSIP or during a spare.

Local Library:  There are computers with Microsoft Office and internet access available at your local Library during regular library hours.  Please visit:
The Carleton Place Public Library

Youth Centre:  Students have access to computers and homework help as part of your local youth centre's after-school programming.  Click here for more information.

211:  Also, parents can access a resource directory by calling "211" free of charge from any phone.  Operators will be able to assist you in finding internet access for your child, and can work with you in over 100 languages.

The BEST way to get a hold of me is through email:

johann.ramsaran@ucdsb.on.ca

but I can be reached by calling the school and leaving a message.

I look forward to working with you to help your child reach his or her potential!

Thanks again,

Johann Ramsaran
